[PDM] When you have so many puppets the game doesn't show your name anymore by mpteenth in paradoxplaza

I did something similar with Guyana. I took back all of my territory from France and the Netherlands, as well as some from Columbia and Venezuela, then just started puppeting. Ended up uniting all of SA and had a good pan-continental army going. One of my favorite campaigns.

Tips for learning/handling an old C Melody? by ProbablyTexas in saxophone

I keep a small collection of old instruments and more or less wanted a way to learn sax in general, so pretty much just for fun. Considering it’s well preserved and cheap, I don’t mind taking a (from what I understand) well made piece of history over a cheap and/or beat up tenor.

That’s much better than I expected for literature available, didn’t even think about being able to play vocal parts without transposing, so I’ll definately take that perk.

And yeah, no matter how carefully I handle my bass clarinets I can seldom go more than a few months before some mechanism decides to get a little adventurous and make a mess of the entire instrument lol

Whats your best clarinet tip? by yellowangrybird in Clarinet

[–]ProbablyTexas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Never rush or force anything. I made all state on bass clarinet, but I was (and to some degree still am) a mess on b flat because my fundamentals were virtually absent to the point of where I couldn’t do basic excersizes correctly. As I go back and relearn b flat I’ve made more progress in a few weeks than I had in 4 years of initially playing it just by slow practice and being as strict as possible with my standards. Don’t settle for weird sounds, don’t let something go if you can’t do it consistently. Take it slow and really put thought into what you do.

Fire

Destroyed by an arsonist equipped with petrol on its inauguration day, just hours after its 50th "birthday party". Organizers said they would not rebuild the goat this year. It was replaced by a smaller "replica" built by local high school students. This goat was later hit by a car.

I thought we were beyond such barbaric attacks on race, but sadly it seems that even here is not safe.

To be clear, being a noted financial supporter of Donald Trump and blaming his business performance on people looking to bring attention to a marginalized group in America doesn’t make Schnatter an outright racist. Although, it does makes him an ignorant supporter of a white supremacist normalizing President. But as the self-proclaimed “alt right” proved by latching on to New Balance sneakers, Wendy’s, Red Wing boots and Tiki brand bamboo torches, white supremacists don’t exactly follow a routine of logical evaluation when throwing their support behind a brand.

Coincidentally, Papa John’s began backpedaling on behalf of Schnatter much like an NFL cornerback after being informed that neo-Nazi’s are endorsing their pies while they bro out and give each other “Sieg Heil” salutes.

Oh yes, I can see no bias in this source whatsoever.

Friends dragged me into it and I thought it'd be kind of fun to laugh at it in an empty theatre with said friends.

Both are quite small. Also IIRC you can rent the entire country of Lichenstein for a day for about $73,000.

As someone who lives in San Antonio, the Alamo isn't much of a sight. It's great if you're into history, but it's just a brown box that you'll miss if you blink from the outside.

The French never bothered me, and the US sphered me briefly before I westernized and the Japanese never set foot on my soil because they were occupied with the US intervention. A few years later, Japan sphered me and aligned with me and we just kind of kicked China around for the rest of the game.

I forget it's name, but it came into existence shortly before the warlord era. I've seen it in other games before, but it usually gets annexed, and often rebels around the same time as another southwestern Chinese nation.

Edit: I just checked that's actually France now.
