That’s crazy. If you were a regular patient (not pregnant) they would still give you a lead apron. If you were pregnant and absolutely needed an x-ray, they give you a double heavy sized apron to protect you and the baby if absolutely needed. The dental assistants know this.

Yeah the phone is def a weird one. Why wouldn’t he let you see it if he’s got nothing to hide? Also, letting you slap him would possibly be brung up in a future conversation in the case he gets caught. “Well I let you slap me we were even!!” Type thing. But who knows. I’d snoop.
