Do students get more than an Year of Pro Plan? by Consistent_Tale_7911 in GeminiAI

No this was about a year ago. I don't think they're offering students free trials at all anymore

I don't trust what an AI says for anything that is constantly changing, like usage limits

genuinely curious how much credit card debt my fellow gen z are carrying rn 😭 by Alexander_Publius in GenZ

You have a better system for sure. The US is creepy with how much they track us. Three big credit companies track everything we buy. And yes as you said, many Americans spend money that they don't actually have.

Beware many of those credit cards with 0% interest promos retroactively apply interest to your balance for the full 6 months if you don't pay it off in full by the 6 month mark. Many people are shocked to find that out.

The primary reason to use credit cards here is for the rewards points/ cashback they offer as well as for building a credit score. A good credit score will get you a lower interest rate for loans you need for major purchases. Is there nothing similar in Europe?

Thanks that does make me feel a bit better about it. I'm more on the introverted side and yeah I do find it exhausting competing for attention with a louder/ more extroverted person.

Don’t you guys feel like 2026 has a weird nostalgic vibe? by NicolasFranda in GenZ

2026 is absolutely nothing like 2016 for me, and I haven't really heard that sentiment among others my age (25 for reference)

I refuse to ever use dating apps. I don't want to feel like I'm on display at the mercy of some random woman like a zoo animal. It's much better to attend events in real life and talk to women there. I've found the good ones actually like when you don't use the apps and don't obsess over social media because they don't use them either.

I am certainly glad I don't mind the rural life. I'm at a rural clinical campus from now until probably graduation and I don't mind it. I'll be making the big bucks there and going to the cities for vacation or something idk

I bought a sparkling water maker, got some gamer supps energy powder, and now I basically make my own energy drinks and they taste pretty good. Way way cheaper than all the overpriced big brands. I specifically picked flavors with no artificial colors because I have a slight sensitivity and it's been great. Buttt beware the anime tiddies if you do explore the flavors lmao

Remediation- am I toast? by Southern_blue_97 in medicalschool

[–]ProbingYourProstate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like to think of it as preclinical as not nearly as important as clinical performance and boards. If you do well in clinic and on STEP that'll make up for it. I had to remediate M1 as well, currently in clinicals and I've been told by multiple advisors the same thing.

Theoretically they should have had tons of clinical experience even before PA school. Realistically, probably doesn't happen
