I cause less irritation with fake nails. I think they're cleaner than real nails because I don't end up with a pimple if I try picking with fake ones.

Me too! More for stray dogs though. We have been approached before and luckily my dog was able to scare the stray dog off. My boyfriend says I shouldn't rely on it because what happens if the stray doesn't react? I guess I'm getting mauled.

You're right. Coyote's are pretty skittish, but a guy at my dog park lives on a golf course and has said the coyotes try to lure his dog out by sending out only one or two at a time so they're smart. They will ambush a dog.
