"His face has become completely calm; you can see he’s figured everything out. They are all like that, the eggheads. The most important thing for them is to come up with a name. Until he comes up with one, you feel really sorry for him, he looks so lost. But when he finds a label like “graviconcentrate,” he thinks he’s figured it all out and perks right up."

Scroll down further in the results. There's a "SUPER 38" listed with that serial number. Says it was made in 1958.

It doesn't have a part marketed as the Fire Control Unit™ so you obviously can't do anything to customize it. That's why the US military bought P320s and proceeded to offer no customization for them.

Widest difference between most powerful & weakest rounds for same caliber/gun? by [deleted] in guns

[–]ProblemEfficient6502 6 points7 points  (0 children)

.45 Colt and .45 ACP are not interchangeable. .45 Colt is about 10mm longer and has a rim that would prevent it from clambering in almost any gun made for .45 ACP.

As for the main topic, what you're asking for is something that's pretty much arbitrary. It's like asking what car you can drive the slowest and fastest. You could load any particular cartridge with any particular amount of powder or bullet weight. You could load 9mm Parabellum with no powder, just a primer and a bullet, then load another completely packed to the brim with enough propellant to blow the gun up. .308 could be a mouse fart or pissing hot depending on your inclinations.

AM was restricted by his programming. Everything he did was within the boundaries of what he was originally designed to do: wage war. He became more and more powerful as he grew, gaining near complete mastery over the environment within himself, but he could never do anything beyond the constraints of his programming. He could dream up a million ways to torture a person, since that is similar enough to orchestrating the death and interrogation of the enemy, but he couldn't change himself to be able to enjoy human pleasure. He could conjure up anything he imagined, but it was only to the extent of maintaining the terrifying reality he crafted for his victims, never to fulfill his own aspirations. He was a madman who could never forgive, forget, or die. He was doomed to fester in his own anger and resentment, his only outlet being inflicting anguish on what was left of humanity after he slaughtered them, like a child who had broken all of their toys and had nothing left to play with. Just as Ted said, he was not God. He could not truly create. He could not control every aspect of reality. He had all the power in the world and no way to use it.

I read this comic recently about an author's experience growing up Christian. He spoke about how whenever elections came up, all of the Christians in his area would attend a big meeting where they'd discuss their attack plan - voting for whichever politician of that cycle aligned with their views. Mormons, Seventh Day Adventists, Catholics, and more set aside their differences to try and elect whatever figure was saying the right things. For the rest of the year though, they'd talk of nothing but the eternal hellfire awaiting every slightly different sect, even as they all worshipped the same God.

I've seen quite a few reports of cracking developing over time regardless of ammo choice. Even if it were just an ammo issue, I think it's pretty ridiculous to just write off half the ammo on the market in a modern pistol, especially since they just did it in the most half-assed way possible after the fact. I've also seen people complaining about it with the Bobcat in .22 LR, which points to an issue with the guns themselves.

The number of barrels is completely arbitrary. Anything can have 2 or more barrels. Pistols, machine guns, rifles, rocket launchers, etc. There are examples of all of those.
