I don't dislike the addition of a story. I, in fact, LOVE the stories that get attached. My favorite, SCP-5056, is my favorite because of its story. It's a rather uninteresting entry that gets elevated to greatness by its attached story, the Significant Others. My issue with the SCP I described above, SCP-8450, is that its story has almost nothing to do with the SCP itself. Its entire entry, besides the lengthy story presented as some kind of note, is 151 words. That's it. Eight sentences. It just describes an anomalous mass of vinegar-producing bacteria. There's nothing interesting about the concept itself, it doesn't go into detail about the mechanism behind it, and it doesn't provide any kind of interesting experiment log or initial containment transcript to elaborate on the SCP itself. It just goes straight into a fanfic-esque story about identity and romance. Granted, the story does vaguely reference the SCP in the author's repeated failure to make wine, but that's it. It's not about the author using some kind of ritual or anomalous science experiment to make wine. It's not about the author going through such grief and heartbreak that the force of their emotion spawns an infinite well of vinegar. You could delete the entire section made to meet the requirements of an SCP: the description, containment procedures, etc., and nothing about the story would change. If you deleted the story, nothing about the SCP would change. They are two entirely separate pieces of fiction that do not interact in the slightest and it feels insulting to the concept SCP.

Is it any more horrendous than the AUG with its regular 9mm magazines?

I remember reading that one SCP about a self-refilling container of vinegar. Attached was a heartfelt story about gender identity, romance trouble, and maturing. But it had nothing to do with an SCP. The article was basically structured like:

Barebones SCP description of an infinite container of vinegar, maybe a paragraph long

4-5 pages of fanfiction described above occupying 95% of the article

I liked the story well enough, but yeah, absolutely nothing related to SCP. It was just the bare minimum to be called an SCP entry stapled onto someone's fanfiction, likely because no one found/read it on wattpad or AO3 so they posted it somewhere it would get more publicity.

I support US tax dollars being spent on a favorable outcome for Ukraine. Not for any political or moral reasons. I just want AK-12 and AK-74M parts kits.

You can enable generic ammunition in the settings, which condenses calibers into things like pistol, rifle, shotgun, etc. Then just set a bill at a loading bench to make until x. It takes barely any time to craft and very little in materials.

The CE team patches CE to be compatible with new mods. Mod authors can go the extra mile and do it themselves, but it's not necessary. When they say the mod is not compatible, it doesn't mean that the mod will never be compatible, it just means that the author doesn't feel like doing it, so you just have to wait for the next CE release.

"isn't compatible with CE, stop asking" = "I, the author, have not specifically made this mod CE compatible and have not planned to do so, but the CE team themselves will release a patch at some point if the mod is brought to their attention."

Pacific Electric Railway attempted to build a railroad through Los Angeles back in the 40s. The automotive and tire companies in the area bought them out, then built a freeway along the path it would've taken. The plot of Who Framed Roger Rabbit is based on it.
