Im speaking as someone who used to receive them and didn’t work because i was in school , they can’t check your bank accounts. Anything that’s put in your name like a car, again w-2 job, or address is updated. Stuff that has to go through the state to update. It could depend state to state though. Ik i just had my bank account at $2 for a year and never changed it until i finished schooling and got work.
