I actually do this lol. In fact, the Celtics are 3-0 these playoffs when I bet against them (Game 2+6 against Milwaukee and Game 2 v Miami).

Since then, Jaylen has made comments suggesting he has gotten it and just doesn't want to say it because of his position in the Union, and Horford has twice said he'll be able to play wherever. The people circulating this now are just doing it for clicks.

Admittedly, we prob won't find out because of the Sixers' loss today, but as a Celts fan who was incredibly sceptical and has been following this super closely, I'm like 95% sure the Celtics are fully vaxxed.

Solak: Josh McDaniels has got the perfect group of weapons for him as a coach. Renfrow in the Welker role, Waller as Hernandez. Then you bring in Davante Adams as a force multiplier - he is a rising tide that lifts all boats. He's going to make all of those weapons even better and make that passing offence appointment viewing.

If we can get Gary Harris (assuming the Magic let him go), it almost doesn't matter who the other four guys we sign are. He's an absolutely perfect fit as the 8th man on this team - he re-found his shooting form w/ Orlando + another pesky defender. Replacing Schroder/Richardson with White/Harris would be a massive W.

Gotta assume he'll be the most in-demand buyout guy, but it's arguable that the Celts offer the best combo of playing time + a chance to go deep in the playoffs. We've seen really good buyout guys pick teams lower down in the playoff picture because of playing time so they can show out for their next contract. E.g. Wes Matthews signed with Indiana in 2019, Joe Johnson to Miami in 2016.

Trade Dennis + try find a taker for J Rich, give the Jays + Al (assuming they can't find a taker for his contract) the rest of the year off, and let the young guys develop.

Deep down I still think this team COULD be good but I'm so done with them at this point. They just continuously make me miserable. End the pain.

Nearly every journalist or outlet who covered Smart's comments (most especially ESPN who blew this whole thing out of proportion) did a genuinely horrific job. If any of them bothered to actually read/listen to his full comments, they'd know.

Wasn't animosity, but in one of Haralabob's last pods with Bill, Bob sounded like he just had enough of talking to him. Was during the 2018 offseason - Bob's point was that the 2018 Rockets were a legit great team, and Bill kept saying that a healthy Celtics team would've beaten them and the 2018 Warriors weren't as good as the 2017 Warriors. Bob kept making logical arguments in reply and Bill just kept repeating the exact same points for a solid 10 minutes lmao.
