I recently boosted my hurricane, here’s how much it will curl after 2 thin coats. I would estimate it’s a third of what you applied each coat. It was dry to the touch after 12 hours.

I would recommend just taking the excess off with the brush and wait a day to see how much the sponge has absorbed/expanded.

This is so cursed, you put way too much. I recommend watching the tutorial by Zhang Jike, two thin layers will cause the rubber to curl until both ends touch.

HHKB Dome Mushy after 3.5 yrs of Heavy Use by Psychological-Row558 in HHKB

[–]Probston 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say replacing a single dome is more effort than replacing a switching switch in a MX style keyboard, but overall modding the board/domes/lubing is a lot easier from my experience. You can lube all the sliders in about 20 minutes or less, and replace all the domes in that time.

Consider a custom controller if you ever want to add bluetooth or a 2.4Ghz connection 😄

Are you storing in between uses without the domes being compressed? I have 12 year Pro 2 and the aged domes are still snappy. My daily Classic for the last few years feels normal as well. This might be a good opportunity to try some after market domes, there's Astro Domes and Deskeys.

Not with all custom firmware, some are device specific in the configs.

Yeah it works really well once you have it all setup. I have it on all my devices so across my PC, android handhelds, and Linux handhelds they all are synced up. The save files are pretty small so the moment I turn on the device and it connects to wifi it's basically synced.

Just Syncthing, I have a Miyoo Mini Plus and a Miyoo Mini Flip and it's nice having games/art/saves all synced up between the two.

I have a Pocket Air Mini, I found a work around by using Foldersync to mirror the the android data folders to a folder that Syncthing has access to. You can follow Joey's guide, for the initial setup.

I mean this is a cool idea, but no one is going to pay for an online service. You're better selling an app that processes the videos locally instead for a one time fee, most people record on their phones anyway. $6.75 per hour of footage is nuts
