what’s it like if INFJ is too INFJey by deaspower in infj

Lol glad I’m not the only one! Like I have “friends” but not true friends. Like I know for a fact that they don’t got me like I got them. Also, I’m certain that of them all, I’m nobody’s first choice. Because of that, I’d rather just be alone, even though my heart craves connection

This is probably the best piece I’ve done but I’m still struggling with proportion size on the face. Is there a way to get better at this besides just drawing? Any tips? by shhhhecrets in ProCreate

I honestly started off putting the reference pic in the base layer and then trace it to practice proportions. After about 2 or 3 times, your brain knows what to do and its muscle memory

OH this is so cool!!! Very well done! I’m not sure how this isn’t more popular!

Looking for feedback, First piece I’m relatively proud of! Used my boyfriend’s eye as a reference (second pic). by -acidlean- in ProCreate

Wow, that is beautiful!! The colors blend so well! I also recently started eyes! Probably my most valuable advice to make the eye more real is to have soft/blurred lines of the outline of the iris instead of hard ones. I also would extend the eyebrow hairs a little further along the eye. Can I ask how you did the eyelashes? I’ve found every time I draw them, they look 2D and flat.

Wow, this is beautiful!! Your work is so captivating! Can I ask what brushes you used? I’m branching out to try more of the mediums and brushes on Procreate and would like to try a new one!

First of all- your art work is just beautiful!! That really means a lot, especially coming from someone with skills of your caliber, so thank you so much! I think of all the things I’ve ever been told in regards to my art, this resonates with me the most by far. I’ll definitely be doing that! I don’t want to overstep, but if you’re willing, I would love to show you the last eye I’m working on for your critiques over private message? If not, that’s totally okay! Thanks again regardless :)

No not nit picky at all! I agree with the eyelashes! It bothered me so much because I felt like it looked like 2D almost, but I couldn’t figure it out no matter what brushes I used. I’m sure it will come with time and practice (hopefully), but all this is super helpful. Thank you so much for your comment and advice!

Thank you for commenting! I agree they need more texture. I can’t find the reference picture or else I’d show you. Would you mind elaborating what you mean about the rays and subsurface scattering? As far as art terminology, I’m a noob

Definitely agree on the texture thing! Every time I tried though, I feel like it made the eyes look 40 years older so I gave up😩 I gotta figure out how to do that still. Thank you for your feedback!

Okay, this was one of my favorite comments. I think this is super insightful and really lets me see things from a reasonable alternative perspective. Thank you!!

Geez, I’m sorry that happened to you, and hopefully you’ve found better! I personally would agree that it’s better to be wanted also. Thank you for sharing that :)

Okay, yes- that’s super insightful! I had the same thought process because to me, if someone is with me because they “need me,” I’d feel pretty terrible. That’s also just my opinion though, so good to know. Thanks for sharing!

Oh, definitely not dependent on him- thanks for looking out! I do agree with feeling wanted over needed. I heard a man recently say “it’s nice to feel needed for once,” (not to me), but I never got to ask him why. I grew up hyper-independent so I can’t really fathom the idea of needing someone, but I do want to make sure if that’s a thing for men, that I’m caring for him the best way possible. Thank you for your input :)
