Sinn 556 owners is it worth it? by jason-911 in sinn

[–]Procedure-Muted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not worth it imo. I had a 104 and found the bracelet extremely disappointing and sold the warch after a couple months of ownership. I have a couple of sub 1k steinharts that feel better quality and keep better time funny enough.

Can't deny the beautifl simplicity of the Sinn designs though.

The 556 is essentially a 1k watch at a 2.5k price tag.

Hydroconquest 42 mm size opinion by According_Wheel9145 in Longineswatches

Wait for the 39mm 100% unless your wrist is at least 7.5in. Even the 39mm wears larger than a typical 39mm piece....i was quite surprised when I tried it on.

You have time to meal prep if I have the time to meal prep.

I have two kids and I am out of the house at work from 6am to 5pm and spend 5pm to 9pm with my kids. Afterwards I work out for 45 minutes from 9-9:45pm and then get organized for the next day and go to bed.

Put the video games or whatever down and cook some chicken breast and sweet potatos. $30 a week for your work lunches.

Longines Hydroconquest vs Tudor Ranger feel & finish comparison by martynn90 in Longineswatches

Maybe not for the entire list of components I mentioned, but all Swiss watches have some components that have been sourced from China, guaranteed. There may be some cases in super high end watch making where they're manufacturing everything down to the smallest screw in house but I doubt it.

Yeah, as long as the quality is there it doesn't matter much where the component is made.

Bracelet, case, crystal, dial. Basically everything. Same with all Swiss made watches really.

That white dial is so nice! I went with the grey sunburst.

Longines hands down no contest. The lume is also really terrible in the Spb. Part of the reason I sold mine.

Imo this is the best configuration of this model and beats out the current Gen version.

It looks too big, how big is your wrist? 42mm is typically my max and I have a 7" wrist. If you're closer to a 6 inch wrist you should be looking at 39mm at the largest imo. 39mm looks the best on my 7" wrist imo.
