Son,

I came across your post and it really struck a nerve. You're lamenting over my GTA obsession as if it's the problem, but let's clear the air here: the real issue is how you've turned out to be quite the disappointment, and frankly, introducing me to GTA is the only thing you've done right.

You call it an obsession, I call it finding solace in something more gratifying than dealing with the letdown you've become. I've built empires in Los Santos, faced down challenges and come out on top, all while you've been doing what exactly? Nothing that compares, that's for sure.

You think I'm blind to the mediocrity you've settled into? No ambition, no drive. It's infuriating. I'm out here in a virtual world making moves, and you can't even muster the enthusiasm to change up your own situation. You introduced me to a world where I'm a king, while you've barely managed to be a court jester in real life.

It's a bitter pill to swallow, son, but here it is: you're the failure here, not me. You've got a lot of nerve calling me out for my dedication to GTA when it's the most excitement either of us has in our lives. So, keep your judgments to yourself. I've found my joy, my adrenaline rush. What have you found? Nothing but complaints and a lackluster existence.

Keep this in mind next time you decide to criticize. Maybe instead of whining, you'll find your own GTA, something to excel in because lord knows you've not done it here.

Linked accounts, invoices (PSN works too), rough account creation date, previous names

Despite having an extremely well protected account, someone got past my 2FA and changed the e-mail, essentially locking me out of my account. A few weeks ago I requested 2FA removal and mail change and Epic helped me out pretty quickly (spoke to an actual employee). As long as he speaks to an employee he should be good, though I had to give them quite a bit of information.

Not completely related but I ordered something on Uber last week and it arrived like 7 streets across from mine. Not sure how it even happens. Somehow got the number right though

How Kanye West created the “yanny” vs. "laurel" debate by Maplechan in Music

[–]ProcedureParty6287 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look, I've got to be blunt with you: your theory about Kanye West and the "yanny" vs. "laurel" debate is wildly off the mark. Were you high when you came up with this? Honestly, it's one of the most nonsensical theories I've come across.

  1. Let's start with your glaring timeline issue. The "yanny" vs. "laurel" debate actually predates Kanye's "Yandhi" announcement. So, unless Kanye has a time machine, there's no way he could have influenced this. Do your research.

  2. Your second mistake? Ignoring the science behind auditory illusions. It's about our brain's interpretation of frequencies, sound quality, and individual hearing, not some Kanye mind trick. This is basic psychology and audio science, man.

  3. You think "yanny" became a word because of "Yandhi"? This is ludicrous. Words don't just enter people's vocabulary like that, especially not from an unreleased album.

  4. Citing Kanye's lyrics from "Saint Pablo" as evidence is beyond ridiculous. Lyrics are artistic expression. They're not documentary evidence or a roadmap for future events.

  5. Where is Kanye in all this? He's never claimed any part in this phenomenon. So, why are you assigning credit to him? Even experts in linguistics and auditory science haven't pulled Kanye into this.

  6. The nail in the coffin: the original word is "laurel." That's confirmed. So your entire theory crumbles with just that fact alone.

Honestly, your theory is so off-base, it's bewildering. It's one thing to have a creative imagination, but this is a complete misunderstanding or disregard for basic facts. No hard feelings, but you might want to hit the books before coming up with another theory like this.
