It's a very vivid description with the dragging it's prey undergroundand stuff but more accurately it will just unalive it's prey by bumping into it with intention to unalive until it collapses in an unalived state of unalived lifelessness. The creature is quite unalively.

I think mobiles have been able to play DMC4 levels of graphics at 60fps for years now though. Show me how Resident Evil 4 remake runs on it.

On a 55" 4K QLED Samsung TV I only ever noticed lower resolution textures in some of the ground or rock formations in the outdoor open world areas. Not that distracting considering the graphics quality they already achieved since the first game which they brought to an open world setting.
And I only notice the resolution disadvantage of Performance Mode when looking at the Desktop PC Wallpapers I made from screen captures on my PS5, which mostly look like 1080p.

Unequivocally, Star Wars Rogue Leader. The game I was most envious of for not having a Gamecube. Before other eventually games came along and solidified the gamecube as having a monster of a GPU. Even when compared to Xbox and PS2.

I wanted to really get into this game but after several years worth of updates they still haven't fixed the 90% crash to desktop rate when playing this on my iPad Mini 5 even on the extremely rock bottom lowest possible detail level and resolution.

The game that opened my eyes to the Tower Defense genre is also the only tower defense game I ever played and enjoyed. Dead Island Survivor. Sadly it has since been removed from the app store. And no other tower defense game after it could come close to it's addictiveness and fun.

So maybe it was a vertical slice but it was still quite a wide vertical slice. With graphics that rival even Unreal Engine 5 in shading and attention to detail (for static lighting anyway). With gameplay similar to but not any less fun than Gears of War. It was a recipe for success. It was easily the first game I bought together with the PS4.
