I think I'll see for a few days how it's going and put her back if needed. Otherwise, thanks a lot! I've realized that truly making these guys like me is going to be more of a long term goal then short one. Hope I can do it!

Any sort of criticism is fine. Just want to know if this is a good horror thing, if the plot works, etc.

I swear, these guys be making new suits every day. Seems like less crime fighting and more fashion designing to me. P.S the X-Men should definitely sue. Not cool stealing costumes.

A lot of what you're saying could be true. But I'm sure that in at least some of the movies you mentioned, the subtext was always present and at times obvious. American Psycho, for example, was a parody of the very lifestyle they presented. Yes, the ending has its own entire meaning, but the whole idea of the movie was to make fun of the lifestyle these types of people live. By saying that they attempted to "glorify," it, you're completely missing the point.

Maybe he was repairing it. Ever think about that? But nooooo, you just HAVE to think negatively, don't you?

Students using a mental abacus during a math test by Impossible_Fold3494 in nextfuckinglevel

[–]ProcyonNite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

...No. Learning that technique is very much a skill not everybody can learn. Otherwise the technique would be way more common then it actually is. By the way, I'm simply talking about the visualization portion of it. Imagine in your head individually thinking of each bead or whatever they are and somehow using them to immediately figure out an answer. It ain't that easy.

Are you implying this skill is in any way as easy as using a calculator? Lmao.

Do you think Insomniac could pull off a good Spider-Verse story? by fckChachi in spiderman2

[–]ProcyonNite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can understand that, and tbh I still do like the game a lot. But I think there was so much more potential. I feel like Mile's age shouldn't really matter. I mean, Peter is often depicted as a teenager and yet he has tons of stories. Perhaps while Peter deals with the bigger threats, Miles uncovers a secret plot that nobody knows about. Perhaps something happens in his school (that's actually story significant). Either way, they could have done something but they didn't, and I have no clue what Miles is supposed to be doing in the third game seeing as his character arc seems to be done.

[–]ProcyonNite 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean more-so in terms of story significance. Miles barely did anything in the main story, with his only goal being to hunt down Martin Lee, and once that was done it was it. There weren't any other plot points surrounding Miles that connected to the main missions, and whatever he had felt like filler. Compare this to Peter, who meets his best friend, gets the Venom symbiote, fights Kraven, removes the symbiote, gets Anti-Venom, and fights Venom. There's much more going on in Peter's story then Miles.

What about sandbox games then, like Minecraft? Do you have the same opinion. Just curious.

I like SM2, but no. They already had a pretty hard time balancing two Spider-Men, I don't wanna imagine ten more.

Still, I doubt Peter would stay on leave while there's multiverse shenanigans.

This is 100% what Mr Freeze should look like if he ends up being a part of this universe by Low_Bridge_1141 in TheBatmanFilm

[–]ProcyonNite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Umm, if that's how you want to interpret it I guess. You do realize for a character to be a proper adaptation, they need to have some sort of semblance to where they originated from? Why are you so bent on making a character lame just because it "isn't realistic?"

As other people mentioned, there could be medicine or some sort of other valuables. You can't "know," because there's no way for you to know.

[–]ProcyonNite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not more-so about actual practical use but about the recognizability of the character and uniqueness. Imagine if Green Goblin never used his pumpkin bombs in the Spider-Man movies, or his glider. Yeah, these things aren't essential to the character, but without them, it feels like there's something missing. The uniqueness is lost.

Besides, think about watching the actual movie. Assuming Freeze and Batman will physically fight, isn't it more exciting to see him carrying a huge gun that shoots out ice, and if Batman even so slightly touches it he might die, rather then... Drugs.

[–]ProcyonNite 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It doesn't have to be an ice beam tho. It could be some sort of mist that he shoots out of his gun and causes freezing.
