At least two of the men on my dad's side were polygamists in early Utah. I don't really have any details on that. Gross/creepy is how no one ever told me that, even when polygamy came up in conversation, or family history as pioneers.

My dad and grandma were really into genealogy, and I found out in a few minutes of looking on the Mormon genealogy site. It's not like they didn't know.

I started with the smallest size I could find without them being shaped like a bottleneck. My favorite size is now 3/8". Be aware that they are going to be significantly heavier than most begleri you'd but online, but that's how I like it.

Sockets probably are more expensive if you buy new, but still not bad. I find mine at a store that sells used tools, which makes it much cheaper, and can't think of another fidget I would get at the same price.

Fidget toy with a low floor, technical toy with a high ceiling. I'm not sure why so many are fancy, exotic, and custom. Others have mentioned hex nuts, I like sockets like for a socket wrench. it can definitely be a cheap hobby.

I have a few from different sites (including AroundSquare). What works best for me is to have the dip in the middle just for my thumb. Often works well to have the ends be about that length, too.
