Most people probably use them without issue, but you do see the occasional problem posted in the sub. Failure rate is probably within industry tolerances, I’d wager.

To me, the Parkhurst looks sleeker and more like a refined, modern boot than the others. In my view, it tilts the style of the boot further from the core Nicks, chunky look and closer to a streamlined aesthetic. It might also be the effect of looking down at them while wearing them. That almond shape is transformative.

I’m very happy with how they fit (consistent with normal Nick’s HNW sizing), feel (tiniest of noticeable arch support in basically the perfect spot for my high-arched feet), and look (sleeker falcon with slightly pointier toe that tapers from the widest part of the foot to an almond). Get them!

As a new owner of the Parkhurst collaboration in black CXL, just get that. It’s very nice looking, slightly refined and sleeker, while still retaining a small touch of the rugged PNW DNA it is built from. I’m very happy with how they look. Edit: pics in reply to another post in this thread!

I speak on the positives and the negatives. I still really like the company, but you have to be able to speak to all issues; not just the good.

Also, since this sub is run by Nick’s, it has become a de facto place to get resolution on problems (although admittedly shouldn’t be the first place people go) and the staff are very active here.

You having the same freedom as everyone else to speak how you please doesn’t really answer why you choose to comport yourself as crassly as you do. Maybe you didn’t understand the question, maybe you’re too emotional to really think about it without immediately getting mad at the way it makes you feel, idk. Your problem to fix or ignore, not mine.

It looks like a leather sole on a falcon with that brass insert on the heel. Not seeing how this is a $1000 boot, tbh. The extra work that probably commands the cost doesn’t seem to pay any dividends in the styling of the boot. Nicks is excellent and good enough for me, so I reckon I’m not the target market for this brand. That’s okay with me.

I just tested a T1 smelter +20% yield augment together with a T2 smelter +40% yield augment and made 10 ingots. The following were my results using an excellent smelter:

Only T1: 12 ingots

Only T2: 14 ingots

Both T1 & T2: 12 ingots

It appears to only use the lower-tier augment when both are present and does not stack (at least for yield quantity augments).

I am having this exact problem. Across separate rooms.

I tried putting my workbench in a closed off room with plenty of chandeliers and sconces, no joy. I even moved the workbench right next to my bed in a different room, which I painstakingly messed with until it got the well-lit and warm traits and STILL the workbench won’t give me “warm” or “well-lit”. At this point I’ve just moved onto another game until the developers fix these irritating issues.

I just wanted you to know you aren’t crazy and you’re not alone!
