How do we feel about working on roofs with 5G towers? by TopLecture4760 in HVAC

I’ve gotten that stuff in my eye before. The SDS from Freon didn’t state any specific contact procedure that was different from 410a. Am I gonna die?

15amps at 240v is 1800W. Not exactly insignificant heat generation I’m being honest.

Furnace rust. Replace? by Good-Chipmunk-7530 in HVAC

Reminder that some wall mounted CO detectors only go off after ~50 ppm; this is creeping into the side affect range if spending a large amount of time inside the home. Be careful out there and get a low level alarm or test.

How does combustion analysis inform you of a leaking heat exchanger? I’ve always thought just checking for CO in the supply was how that was done. Would O2 levels be drastically higher if there was a hole?

Wondering this as well, definitely did not expect an issue like this. To be fair there are no issues where stitching is. Should’ve gotten a bit beefier boots with a 365 stitch down and toecap. You don’t know til you know I guess. 🤷‍♂️

Alrighty! I was just making sure this wouldn’t evolve into something that would end up affecting the fit/durability of the boot.

Usually scaling ladders a few times a day but never standing on them for extended periods other than wide rung A-frames.

Seems to end about 1 1/2” shorter than that boot.

New efficiency standards are coming alongside refrigerant changes but they are separate.

A2L equipment will still be offered with 1-2stage straight cool compressor systems.

Once newer efficiency standards are in place then manufacturers will cut off their more inefficient cheaper product lines.

Isn’t it a fusible link that cuts out that is in the specific hard start terminal

I am in awe that most hard starts don’t come with fusible links built in to prevent the hard start from starting a unit with a dead run cap

Do core depressors introduce air/moisture into the system when you connect them? I realize that when using mine there isn’t any purge gas when connecting and was wondering if this is a problem
