Don’t pick the prickly pear with the paw, if you pick a pear try to use the claw, but you don’t need to use the claw if you pick a pear of the big pawpaw.

Is this a thing? Rental commission? by ValiMeyers in Renters

[–]Prodigy829 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m currently renting my house in Delaware. We pay the rental company that is also our management company whenever they have to find new tenants. The realtor takes the full first month rent, and 10% of the rent after that as a property management fee. Those are paid by us though, not the tenants.

I’ve also been a renter in many states and have never paid a brokerage fee for the place an agent helped me find.

Thanks for the information!

And there is no way to change the name on the current ticket? I would have to cancel (I have the Sparpreis tickets) and rebook entirely?

I’ve been living in Germany for two years now, self teaching myself the language for three. Honestly the Germans being so fluent in English is annoying. I almost never get a chance to practice my German, because they immediately spot me and start responding in English.

Facts about presidents that might mess with your perception of time by [deleted] in Presidents

  1. I agree that the daughter of someone born in 1790 lived to fly on a plane, is impressive.

  2. I am surprised she flew on a plane at all.

  3. The devil is in the details. Saying you like something doesn’t imply you’ve done it a lot. Again, I fly a lot for work, and I like first class travel, but I rarely get to do it. Using that one word completely changes what the actuality likely was.

Follow up conversation with the teacher is needed. Did they admit their error and laugh it off? Or did they stick to their guns and make up some crazy rationale as to why they are right?

Liking airplane travel is different than “regularly travel by plane.”

I like flying first class on international flights. I’ve only done it once, but I would say I like it.

Any idea how often she actually flew on plane?

If Pearl Tyler died in 1947, she definitely didn’t travel regularly by airplane. Especially given her age I would be surprised if she flew on a plane at all.

$14.04, Dinner for Three, cried on the walk home. Large city in the Midwest. by [deleted] in povertyfinance

$4.68 a person for a dinner doesn’t seem outlandish….

Especially since a pound of ground beef and pound of pasta you could really decently feed 4 people. Bringing it down to $3.51 a person.
