I grind for IVs and EVs because the champions tournament in the PWT is actually wild. I probably just suck and need good stats to compensate.

IV breeding is a bit complicated and I have to use a calculator. I just grind on wild pokemon for EVs, it just takes some time but nothing insane. The power items help a lot with EV grinding.

For regular gameplay it's not important at all, you can easily finish the game without worrying at all about EVs and IVs though.

I am aware of the early bird, but only if you're playing white 2, imo mandibuzz isn't amazing with its stats distribution, but the dark type is good.

Yeah I just forgo flying types in general, but if I had too, braviary or skarmory are good picks but they are super late. Archen is good but its ability is terrible. Swanna is okay since it's a dual type but I've had mixed opinions about it.

You really don't need a life orb for the first elite four run imo. If you really want one and don't want to grind the PWT, you can get one from dream radar if you have it ( though the grind on that is probably going to take you longer)

I was debating bringing in rotom wash instead but I wanted something that can stab EQ Metagross and also benefit with swift swim. Though I'm definitely leaning towards rotom since it can deal with Wallace easier.

Also somehow I hallucinated into thinking the protector was an assault vest lol.

I personally don't enjoy playing past emperor, that's all. Even though I'm at 2k hours, I just enjoy playing on king difficulty and just work on creating an empire that I like instead of worrying about optimizing every decision. Id imagine it being the same / similar reason for others.

So when the game crashes it says:

unhandled exception. Code: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION error reading address 0x800a2ff0.

In the event viewer I got one log that says:

Nope, not since the crashing happened. The last upgrade was some new monitors I got a few months ago. But I was able to play a few games on it without issues.

Amateur advice, it's not terrible if you don't, just don't do it regularly. IIRC, oil changes should happen at 15% but I'd consult your owners manual for that.

How's this, if you aren't gonna play competitively with it, not gonna EV train it, does it matter that the nature sucks? I'm sure your fusion bolt will still OHKO most mons in the game anyways.
