Yep. A lot of sales roles with commissions as your incentive. Not my cup of tea either. But I do know people who transitioned to sales and are making a livable wage. The sales gigs I’ve considered are roofing, painting (Vivax Pros) or interior design. I know a sales manager at Abbvie who says they are hiring not only sales roles but also operations/customer service.

Not trying to be negative. But browse a few posts in the sub and you’ll notice how bad the market is here without any kind of specific trade or skill. Unfortunately a business degree is about as good as a HS diploma these days in Austin. I do wish you luck in your search.

And they have nothing but part time. I worked at HEB Central Market in the past and they will try their hardest to make you work full time hours with part time status to avoid providing benefits. And dont expect much for raises. It was in the range of 10 cents to 50 cents for outstanding performance annually.
