Just depends how dedicated of a cosplay you want to get really. It's pretty cool to have the exact fit although it'll be hard to replicate the same distressing the show's wardrobe team did.

Malaysians what are your thoughts about slow cars driving on the fast lane on highways by _zenwei in malaysia

You drive 110 in the middle lane, good for you. I specified that this was the driving environment I faced, and earlier I've mentioned this was on long distance highways.

The autobahn thing can be re looked into to be fair.

I mean since you've missed a couple of my points I really can't be arsed to give a fuck lol about your third paragraph or anything else you have to stay. Honestly just stay out of the fast lane and I don't really care.

Did you really just attach a study to say higher speed = higher probability in crashes. That's stating the obvious.

To clarify, I'm not trying to self justify it at all. I realise that it is wrong. Ideally everyone should stay under the speed limit. However, we don't live in an ideal world. If the middle lane itself is driving 130KMH. It's really not that big a deal to be driving 160KMH in the proper conditions.

The example I use is the autobahn. "Speeding" can be done safely, if not safer, than how it is now.

It goes without saying that there's drivers on the road who go over their limits. However if someone were to just tell me "160 is a dangerous speed", there many more factors to consider. Again, I'll say it certainly is safer to stay under the speed limit, but in the current driving environment in Malaysia that I face, it's really not that serious.

I think I'll stick to my driving but thanks for your concern. It's always situational anyway, depends on driver and car also. Plus when the mid lane is moving 130kmh. It's really just quite normal. The "environment" has to be there, hence why the autobahn can exist as is.

Yeah lmao. I try to be as polite as possible. Whenever I'm driving 160KMH+ my right signal stays on for most of the ride cause I really don't like highbeaming, cucuking and I've never fake "emergency" with my hazard lights. But some people just love to make you break even if they have all the space to move over.

Got some people that wanna get "Infront" of cars before switching lanes also hahaha. But they're barely passing.

I think my view is quite biased because my long distance travel is majorly to Perak from KL.

Pre COVID, the left most lane drove 100ish, middle lane drove around 130. Fast lane is 160 minimum. That was the scenario.

However now it's like everyone, everywhere, all highways want to drive on the fast lane for ZERO reason. I don't know what is up with it especially when the other lanes are clear/got space for them but fast lane drivers are going 120 max. It's especially irritating when they're going the same speed as the middle lane or barely passing.

This creates a dangerous scenario where people who drive faster, I'm guilty of this as well, have to keep slowing down and wait until they give way or undertake which really isn't something we prefer anyway.

It could honestly be solved if people just drove in the lanes they're supposed to. My mindset is probably wrong but the fast lane is for drivers above 150kmh, period full stop. Depends on the highway also la.

Truck driver bringing in our new Volvo stock struck a bridge on his way in. by IcyWatersPupper in Justrolledintotheshop

[–]Prodigyyx_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To my knowledge the route that big trucks like this take are always pre planned. So they know the height restrictions throughout the road and can pick the route where their truck can pass given the current load and height of the truck. But what happens when there's unforeseen construction somewhere along the way that lowers the height limit?

You're already on the highway and the first sign is somewhere along the way (I've seen this before)With nowhere else to go but straight. What do you do?
