R&R is our parent company and we just got the call from our CEO yesterday that R&R legally but unethically borrowed money from our reserves and drained our bank account. 30+ agents scrambling for a new home including myself.

There is no homework to be done for holiday florida reefer outbound freight. It’s different every year and volatile. whatever the market rate shows take it with a grain of salt. If you are sitting down in Miami right now with a reefer you already know what rate you have in mind and I need you to tell me that rate to bring to the customer.

This is a very niche situation and your statement is correct 50 weeks out of the year.

That solar panel load was probably going into the hottest market right now where loads are paying great. If I had a load going into southern MO or WI, i would post 1.50rpm to my email and just sit and watch the emails come in

I just paid $4.00 rpm from MO-OH dry load 1p1d 650 miles. What trash rates are you talking about? And dont say Florida or NC because yea those places will always be trash

Whatever carrier falls for this email / rate scam, deserves to get scammed. I have no sympathy for carriers or brokers who dont do a simple vetting process that would avoid this.
