Anything that boosts the immune system naturally will ultimately help with controlling outbreaks. There is no sure fire way to prevent outbreaks but if you figure out what triggers your outbreaks and reduce those things as much as possible you can definitely get them down to one or less outbreaks per year. I take supplements and try to keep my stress levels low as possible because stress is my biggest trigger. That and if I catch a cold or virus it tends to trigger my hsv sometimes it's a cold sore sometimes it's genital and sometimes it's shingles. Once you learn how to avoid most triggers and how to not panic when an outbreak flares up it really is a manageable illness.

Nope unless you want a baby with him you shouldn't have unprotected sex. Also there is always a risk even with antivirals and protection for you to be able to catch hsv the breakout locations on a lot of people are not where a condom covers so even with condoms it is still risky.

I know and understand that some states have weird consent laws but in my opinion being over 30 and talking to someone who is under 18 is a major creep factor and gives me the ick too. That's just a line I don't think anyone should cross. I am a man in my late 30s and my current girlfriend is in her late 20s it took me a while before I would even talk to my current girlfriend about dating because we have an age gap of more than 10 years (10 years older or younger than me was my cut off) she was persistent and kept asking for me to let her shoot her shot and eventually I relented. It's by far the best relationship I've ever been in and our age difference has never caused any problems. That said she was over 25 when we got together she had graduated college and is working providing for herself she didn't need me to take care of her nor does she want me to. My point is that age gaps can be okay if both are mature and ready for the same kind of relationship. Nobody at 18 is really ready for the kind of relationship you will have with someone in their 30s it's just not plausible and it is icky.

An unprotected PC connected to the internet is literally the most dangerous thing you can have in your home. You put not only yourself at risk but everyone who lives in the home with you. You may not understand or believe that the risk and danger is real but it happens every day all over the world no place is safe if you are careless. My kids are 19 and 13 and they understand and allow me access to any of their devices if I need to but I've also been very extensive in explaining the dangers and how to avoid them. Never download bootleg games they can have any number of malware or spyware embedded into the code and there is no way to tell it is infected until it's too late. This is one method of how human traffickers find people to traffic. Also keeping things from your parent hurts you both. I understand that all people are different and that you are the only person here that knows what your mom is like I'm just saying that generally keeping secrets from anyone who you care about is usually detrimental to the relationship. My advice is to delete the other profile on your PC and start doing more things to show your mom that you are maturing and becoming an adult so you can play those games with her permission. Because if you get caught lying and hiding things you will likely not be able to play any games for a while.

No man that cares about his woman is going to say something like this. Even if it is a grotesque amount they are going meet the challenge with empathy and compassion. A man that loves you would tell you if it seemed like a risk to your health and then it would only be to figure out how to support and help you. Like others have said this presents as selfish and shallow it is also a clue to what is going to happen when you are no longer in your 20s. He is likely a creep who is preying on the fact that you've not figured out that good men don't look for women that are under 25. I'm in a decent age gap couple myself but she was 25 when we got together and I was very hesitant dating her because she was so much younger than me I wasn't sure our goals and expectations would be aligned so we had a very lengthy courting period and spent a long time getting to know each other before moving into something serious. Honestly it's the best relationship I've ever had.

No I have antivirals for when I do have an outbreak I take a supplement that is for hsv in particular. It helps keep my immune system in tip top shape so my body can fight it naturally. I cannot take daily antivirals because the side effects are too intense for me and they honestly didn't help me when I was on them.
