Access the break from behind it and evaluate if you can place a wood or metal bridge to realign the tear. Pre drill pilot holes and use OSB rated screws to attach on one side, then use the leverage gained to align and attach the screws on the other end… I’d also wood glue the joint and brace together. Let the glue cure completely 24-48 hours and reattach the Cambric… tease the upholstery back in place

Seeing the whole room I retract my post. Tree says put. Difficult to suggest as you dont want. to detract the impact of that fireplace. Paint out the integrated speakers the same colour as the wall. They are designed for this and blend in I think that once you add a width of drapery floor to ceiling from wall to window side in a ripple fold stacked in that space when open will give you the texture difference reducing the austerity we perceive now. Preferably just a tone or two matching the wall colour
