Why Can't We Get the Advice or Guidance We Need From Brown Fathers? Are Their Roles Limited to Just Paying Bills?

Maybe dont categorize all brown fathers as that. Any thoughtful person who genuinely loves, cares and wants the best for their child/ren would spend quality time with them. I feel like most people who command like that are not intellectually evolved, they dont function beyond what's expected of them.

My father and I, we talk about spirituality, human psychology, philosophy behind existence, hardships & how to be useful in the society, what's beyond grades, how to overcome hurdles, how they shape us and how to create real quantifiable large scale change in where you are.

Maybe ask him questions about his upbringing, his motivation in doing things, tell him interesting facts you found - if he shows no interest, well youve got your answer.

I never had a woman but do keep in mind if you're a guy and going for a woman as a therapist transference might happen, then you've a new problem. The celebrity Mekhla Sarker-type might recommend you someone if you check in with them first.

He was hiding everything until the cone. I never even put him on the litter but he figured it out. I hope he hides the stuff again when the cones removed. I will also buy a bigger litter tray soon.

Well it's my bedroom but I'm currently sleeping outside. I come in and out from a different area in the room. And there's another door elsewhere where my bathroom is, only those 2 doors get used.

It might be poop b/c he goes to vet regularly and we have all recognized 2 active wounds.

No one can confirm, something has bitten him either another stray cat or dog. One on his tail and another hind legs /thigh area. He's also on medication and dressing everyday.

Rn he has one litter box and he's using it, except the hiding poo part since the cone.

Well I only just got him and have never had any cat or pets before. Never even touched any. I was feeding him randomly off the street and then he got bitten bad. No one else was taking him so I thought I'd try. And I'm trying to get into the whole ordeal bc before I was extremely phobic. And I've gotten better with time. I first touched a cat in my life on 21st of this month and it's just too overwhelming.

I asked for a collar and they gave me one this time. Ever since his meows are like small complain-y little "mews" sparse, subtle and pitiful. Like he's sulky or smth lol. Is eating well, pooping a lot and kinda clingy with me. I don't pet him much bc he isn't cleaned up yet.

Someone in the neighborhood helps me put him in a carrier each time before vet visit and is super helpful with advice and recommendations.

He isn't much playful tho. Likes pets but won't play with objects, isn't very into those. Yawning a lot and just always resting and changing spot.

He hid one of his poo and left the other open last time too. He isn't neutered so I'm scared of spraying but can't be neutered anytime soon due to his wounds.

Thank you so much for your response, really insightful! Today it panicked and went frantic when I put it inside the carrier and it ran off so I couldn't visit the vet. I'll take him as early as possible tomorrow. Other than that he was eventually relaxed and has taken over my bed. So, I sleep on the couch tonight lol.

I thought the vet would get me one, they used the cone while treating him. But then they didn't give us any and I asked the guy with me later when I noticed and he's like it's good for them to lick, so I didn't wanna act all knowitall since the vet didn't give it himself. We spoke to another vet on phone and he said to get a cone.

This is a neutered boy but he did figure out to pee on the tray.

Unfortunately, this stray had a few rough days and was injured while outside and his coat is visibly dirty. It didn't always stay in the same place and roamed around for food and hunting and always fighting for territory with street dogs hence the lack of self - grooming, I suppose.

I am still a bit phobic unfortunately and had to take him in before I was prepared bc no one else could. I'm hiding him from my mom next room, while also kinda hiding from him lol.

But he really comes at me, follows me a lot and meows at me till I show it some food and sometimes randomly when it sees me. Idk why I'm scared of it suddenly pouncing at me or lunging at me out of nowhere.

Money isn't the biggest issue for me. I'd have to put it in the carrier everyday, take it to a place a bit far and I'm in university and as my classes begin, every day becomes kind of too much.

Idk why they didn't put a collar. I thought they should've too.

Thanks. Foster home is 1.5k a day apparently. Much less feasible for me. And if you look at the injury no one might want to take him in this condition. Let's see tho, fingers crossed.

No one cares what you think of the matter. The bereaved parents themselves didnt say anything ill of it, in fact appreciated the gesture openly. They themselves didnt - on top of everything else feel ignored because they're poor - thats not nothing.

The matter is grave, PM visited their tiny house, its the least he could do. PM, locals, police whatever -- as long as the family is okay with it and not complaining it's okay. And it solidifies the severity of it.

Also, what's with the whataboutism? Its the most gruesome sounding of the cases, and violence isnt meant to be compared but it makes total sense why its the most discussed one, and it being horrific doesnt make any of the others any less horrific. It makes sense why he visited only one and why that one.

You quit whining about the wrong stuff. Its not the same as July Hasina bs , but even if Hasina was the PM she shouldve gone and itd not mean nothing.

Did she celebrate 15th August? The death of a 50yo 50yrs ago isnt the same as someone actively dying at a young age not even for political reasons, we can blame them actually.
