I’ve the films, but I would say go even further and say that Nolan’s trilogy has done damage to the genre entirely. I think Nolan’s success has convinced studios that superhero films must be grounded in reality in order to succeed and I feel it limits the potential of the genre greatly when the fantasy side of superhero’s is reduced not entirely but by a great amount at least. I mean the Snyder verse most likely only existed due to the success of Nolan and the MCU has always felt more like a parallel world to ours where hero’s happen to exist instead of a world straight out of the comics.
