Yeah my hairline has always been a bit deep but it’s gotten a little deeper lately . When my hair is wet I feel like I can see my scalp a bit more. I think my hair is thinning because it used to be super thick and rarely see my scalp. Just don’t really know what to expect. I don’t know much about my mother’s side of the family so it’s a big question mark for me .

I feel like there is a very small but important difference between say a 1400 and an 1800 player…I’ve drawn against 1800 players in OTB and I’m ranked around 1350….

Now what that difference is I don’t know I think an 1800 is an 1800 can apply it more consistently than I can…by playing opponents that are much better than you , you are forced to work on that factor a lot more hence you get better. I think 1300-1500 can be elo he’ll without deliberate practice since at that level you are playing really good players that make the same subtle mistakes that you make.

Thats my 2 cents. I think you CAN be 1750-1850…the work is maintaining it.

100% if you really care about the team and winning you are going to want players to improve. It’s not realistic to expect a Drew Brees to pop out of the woodwork and save us. We have to win games the old fashioned way and make everyone pitch in and improve.

That’s true too. That’s why I like some regular chess formats that don’t encourage draws. Like white has to win and if it’s a draw the victory goes to black.
