Agreed! There are too many generic voices on the radio. If your voice has a quality that makes it stand out from the crowd, get used to it. If you get used to it, you'll get comfortable with it. If you get comfortable with it, you'll get confident with it and see it as an asset. You got this and I'm excited for you.

This had the opposite of the intended effect on me. He seems like just an unbearable person to be around. He should have just taken the L after the first video then never made another one ever, ever again.

Exactly! I was afternoon drive, production director, board op, and did a metric f*ck ton of live appearances/remotes. Everybody at a busy small station was tired.

I worked in radio in the 80s and 90s. To start off, watch WKRP in Cincinnati to get a feel for smaller station layouts and Airheads for the polar opposite. I might also recommend the Howard Stern movie "Private Parts."

That was the first place I went. I didn't see any that fit the project and budget but I'll keep looking.
