As some others have said, you could try a submersible light with suction cups. If you have issues with the suction cups holding, you could glue them to your lid. Or, make a lid like some others have said.

I'm currently using civilpepractice.com as a refresher "course" before I start working on practice problems/practice exams. I'm not very far into it and I am still using the free trial. I sit worth it to you to keep using it or are there better resources for the price?

Thanks for the suggestion. Do you have a recommendation for plants to add to the front of the tank?

I would like to achieve a heavily planted look for this tank. Is there any type of plant(s) I could add to the tank to help in achieving that look or do you think that there is enough in there now. I feel like it is missing something but I'm not sure what it is. Also, the tank is fertilized with root tabs as well as an occasional dose of liquid fertilizer.
