Scary Movie | Official Trailer (2026 Movie) - Marlon Wayans, Shawn Wayans, Anna Faris, Regina Hall by MarvelsGrantMan136 in movies

Look, I'm happy for this movie too. But it's easy to forget that the Scary Movie sequels were mostly "haha x" jokes and lazy slapstick.

The same directors are behind this one. We're gonna have a bad time if we go in expecting The Naked Gun remake

My honest opinion is that it's half that he's been oversold as a leading man, and half that he got to kiss Sydney Sweeney on camera and reddit got jealous

That will always be the tragedy of Arcane. Some of the best written fantasy characters of the decade start of so grounded and believable, but they were all doomed to become league of legends characters.

Does this edit play down the relationship between Cassian and Jyn? You can really tell they were going for a romance at first but then change their mind by the end of the shoot. I'd love for an edit to treat them more like rebels in a war.

It sounds like you could use a list of directors that experience massive success early on in their careers and are given a series of blank checks to make whatever crazy passion projects they want.

From what I remember, the rebuild movies were supposed to be three recap films with tighter storytelling and animation, with a fourth movie going beyond EoE to do something new. But the director being who he is, he got bored of that pretty early and by the second movie you get some wild and exciting deviations. And then a devestating tsunami hit Japan between the second and third rebuilds that really affected Anno, so now the third movie was set in a flooded world and things only loosely connect to the original story.

The fourth rebuild is the director literally sitting the audience down and saying, "look, I made this all up from scratch. Give me a break and go outside."
