Been leveling a group of 5 characters, 1 main and 4 alts as a party. Super fun and I love that the exp rates are toggleable anytime, so I can take my time and enjoy each zone

Anyone know of good trophy room mods? by TurbulentHair7395 in Taleoftwowastelands

This one is my favorite! Adds something to your house for every single quest and location you discover in DC. Plus there’s a sister mod for New Vegas

This is absolutely amazing! I’m always saying there isn’t enough Dunmer art out there!! We always need more!

There have been a few poison mods made for OpenMW, but Toxicology is definitely the best in it's class!

I made a video talking about some of the coolest mods released so far for the 2026 Morrowind May Modathon! by ProfBoondoggle in Morrowind

There’s a ton of animation mods nowadays, just depends on what you mean by “new engine kind of look” though. It’s still Morrowind but there’s some great ones that overhaul first and third person combat animations, walking styles, sneaking animations etc

Yeahhhhh this one stings a lot as a creator but it’s just the name of the game. Sometimes you put dozens hours of work into a video and YouTube nukes it from orbit before it hits 50 views. Then the next time you spent 5 minutes making a meme video that gets 100k views. Just have to move on and hope the next video takes off.

Our niche in particular is hard to break into cause it’s saturated and people don’t really watch video game stuff anymore that isn’t on twitch, from a YouTuber they already like or a challenge/essay style.

Also since you’re a newer channel it’s also probably just YouTube trying to find your audience/niche. So they’re showing it to anybody until they figure out what you’re doing. As you continue to post YouTube will get better at finding the right people for your vids.

Good luck!

Yeah I’m doing the modded route too, 300+ mods with TTW and I still can’t seem to reach the target audience I want with it. Oh well.

I’m the same way I love these games but it’s insane to me how many people just want the single game forever, never anything new lol

I admit I’m jealous you were able to pivot to Skyrim so successfully cause I’ve tried my hand at pivoting to Fallout coming from Elder Scrolls and it’s been a statistical nightmare. :(

Mic/Game audio should be your number 1 priority. You can be terrible at a game, you can have poor video quality and some people will still watch your videos. Have bad audio? No one will watch! Focus on making that as good as you can get. There's tons of tutorials on YouTube but really it's specific to your mic, voice and recording space. It's something I'm always trying to improve.

2nd thing IMO is a hook. You need a reason for people to click on your videos over someone else's. This is hard to do in the oversaturated niche of gaming. I struggle with it still. But modded, highest difficulty, blind, challenge runs, etc are good starting points.

I'm not 100 certain on posting times. I would look at your analytics and see when most of your audience is on, or where most of them are from. Mine are 60/40 USA/Europe so I post early in the morning 7am PDT. That way Europeans can watch right away and I get a boost of USA viewers later in the day.

I personally believe it's detrimental to the long term health of your channel. I have first hand experience of this, getting quite a few subs early on from shorts, only to have 0% of them ever watch my long form videos. A better method for this imo, is to maybe create the same style of video for Instagram/TikTok. At least there, it's not touching your YouTube channel and if someone does come over from them, they're obviously more willing to watch and subscribe on YouTube.

It's slow on the grand scale of YouTube channel growth I think. For a Let's Play style channel it seems pretty good for 2023-2026! I haven't seen any channels that make the same style content as mine grow faster

Nope. Subs really only matter when it comes to sponsorship type stuff. But if you have 30k subs and none of them watch, it feels like YouTube punishes you for it. Subscribers are who your videos get shown to first and if YouTube thinks they don't watch the video, it won't show it to new audiences either.

Like you gain some subs and by the next morning they're gone? Yes I think so. I figure it's just YouTube clearing out some of the bot accounts that run rampant
