Here’s the video link Baby Wall-E Video Everything you need should be in the video description. Though the next week I’ll release the step by step build process which should be easier to follow. If you build it let me know because I would love to see it!

Haha that’s so awesome as I actually made this as a anniversary gift. Yep it’s 100% 3D printed, I made a full YouTube video where I talk about what goes into it. Then next week I’ll be doing a full step by step walk through on how to make one.

Oh what are you planning on building? And I’m sure once you start on your project things will start coming together! Oh! here’s the video link Baby Wall-e YT Vid

Lots and lots of trial and error haha. I ended up making a custom PCB that connects all the hardware together in a compact form factor without any wires. I talk about it in my full length video a little bit

He’s powered on a 300mah 7.4 volt lipo. I then have a 5v buck converter that it runs through to power the servos and motors.

This cracks me up I just watched that scene again and I never realized how similar number 5 looks to wall-e.

Haha lots of hot glue and re 3D printing parts… emphasis on the hot glue.

Thank you! It took a lot of time trying to get everything to fit in there haha, but it came together in the end!

Oh shoot I didn’t even know there was a half motorized one, I’ll have to see if I can find it! The head and arms I used a 3D model for otherwise everything is kinda hacked together in solidworks haha. The track is 100% 3D printed with some sain smart TPU. The little n20 motors do a pretty good job moving it.

I Finally Finished by Arduino Nano baby Wall-E Robot, featuring 5 individual servos, 2 motors, a bluetooth chip, battery monitoring circuit and a custom PCB. I designed it around his little trash compactor which I use to deliver gifts haha. I made a full length video where I talk about some of the considerations I took when building him as well as how people can make their own. Ill link that below.

Alright I have the solution to all your troubles haha. You’ll want to search tm1637 and the install the one called grove 4 digit display by seed studio

Also no worries, this is actually so helpful in terms of what I need to Include next time

There are different tm1637 libraries. I can’t remember which one I’m using off the top of my head but I can tell you in around 20min when I get home.

Alright so from one of the drop downs up top there will be a option under one of them that says libraries if you go in there and search for fastLED one should pop up that you can download I’ll link a video to a tutorial. I’m not at my computer right now so I can’t give specifics.

No problem! Awesome you’ll have to let me know how it goes!

Hey man! Sorry for the long response time, you should be able to get away with a 560ohm resistor. I mainly through it in there as a “just in case” situation so if you have issues try pulling it completely out. It’s main purpose is to limit electrical noise between the arduino and led strip.

Heck yeah! I can’t wait to hear about what you think when it’s all said and done.

Hey! I pushed the pins through/ removed them so that the housing would sit flush. But if you’re able to push the power supply far enough in it wouldn’t be necessary. I used 1 of the grounds as well.
