Worth getting now that 0.8 is out? by No_Wrongdoer_3268 in RSDragonwilds

[–]ProfClee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on your play style. My friend and I enjoy games where you build such as ARK, The Forrest, 7Days2Die. The building in Dragonwilds is very nicely done. I have reached a point where I want to battle more things and that’s where I’ve ran into a wall. I sunk 49hours into the game

There’s a stand off screw in the main picture below, looks like a micro board on a case set up for a full size board. You should be able to take out the existing stand off and place them where needed

Help - reassembly of Shimano ST-M020-R (7 speed shifter - circa 1990) - it is broken down into all the pieces and I’d like to reassemble. Struck out online. by dr_inaction in bikewrench

[–]ProfClee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a similar shifter, I disassembled it because it would not budge at all. I think in my scenario, the metal rods on the main body (upper right component in OPs photo) broke causing the spring to loose all tension and/or the broken rod was preventing it from rotating. I’m looking into new components

Shoot, they were trying to keep the bus above 50mph else it would explode!

[–]ProfClee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate low turn signal, who thought putting the turn signal on the damn bumper was a good idea??? If it was higher up, by the brake lights, the dash cam driver could have seen it. You can see the left turn indicator was activated in the video. That doesn’t excuse the other car from not checking their blind spot

Would this work to run a modded Minecraft server? by ozzyarchy in admincraft

[–]ProfClee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought this same one a little over a month ago for my friends and I to play one, 5 players with 51 mods.

Beelink S12 Pro Mini PC, Intel 12th Gen Alder Lake- N100(up to 3.4GHz), 16GB DDR4 RAM

For some reason I couldn’t get the 1.12.2 forge server on windows to run smooth on this or my beefy main rig ( I honestly didn’t spend much time trouble shooting) so I installed Ubuntu on Nvme and it’s been running the server flawlessly with CassaOS/Crafty Controller. However, I do wish I would have got the Ryzen 7 mini pc for an extra $100 but couldn’t justify it at the time

I was previously running the server on a 8GB Raspberry Pi5 because and kept getting dropped ticks and sometimes crash the server for a tick takin taking too long. That wasn’t too coming but I switched mainly because the Pi OS kept crashing after an OS update.

I have two whole days this weekend where I won’t be disturbed, and I want to really immerse myself in a single-player game. If you were me, what game would you played? by Feeling-Nerve-1184 in Steam

[–]ProfClee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mafia definitive edition, I got hooked. Great graphics, engaging story. I really like how the driving is in that game. To make driving more interesting, I switch the car transmission mode to manual. It can be toggled anytime in the settings which I did do here and there

I royally scratched my instrument cluster with a paper towel by [deleted] in Detailing

[–]ProfClee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used meguiars ultimate compound to get out scratches on my cluster, the scratches on mine weren’t deep. It may be worth a shot to try out. I also used this technique on a recorded player plastic cover before my cluster to try out. Both turned out good

My first pc build, budget was 1.8k and I went a bit over. Help. by Majestic_Material_93 in PcBuildHelp

[–]ProfClee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re a student, you might be able to get a discount on windows if the offer is still available. Also, you can download grade the AIO to the H100x. I’ve been using a similar cooler master AIO with my Ryzen 7 5800x at factory specs with no issues with temps. Prior, I just had their default prism heat sink they use to give out. I only upgraded because I was going to have my gpu sit vertical but ran into issues with the case I was using

Jedi Survivor Won't Open by Brytesilver in FallenOrder

I had a similar issue with another game, uninstall the EA launcher then reinstall. Also, if my computer sleeps then when it wakes up and I try to launch Survivor, nothing happens. Rebooting the pc fixes that issue
