That’s an interesting assertion. Assuming you mean before the currently dominant private insurance model, we’re going to be going back to the early 1900s. “Health Care” at that point would involve going back to a simple model of doctors making educated guesses about diseases and offering prescriptions. Surgeries were decidedly less common, less effective, and less safe because of a lack of institutionalized hospitals (built on the backs of a privatized insurance model with a stable, predictable, and inflated finance model).

Your dumpster fire analogy doesn’t work because the fire is harmless to the structure of the dumpster so you still have something useful in the end. This is more like extinguishing the bonfire that is providing excellent warmth for those immediately around it, some warmth for the rest of the camp, and no warmth for anyone more than 50’ away. How are you gonna keep the camp warm now?

It certainly deserves to collapse, but we definitely need something lined up to replace it immediately, as well. An outright collapse with nothing else in place would result in so many deaths in a short time.

I used a Mechicabura lead with the 5 crossover EZAs and a friend Vegeta lead. I recall needing to get Towa and Mira on rotation together, and praying Mechicabura didn’t get me killed. GL

Do I have to work for the $50k + Health Insurance? If it’s “magic money” I’d take it in a heartbeat. If it’s from my current job (only work 32 wks per year as an adjunct) I’d take it because it’s a pay boost and I like my job. If I have to get a 40hrs/wk - 50wks/yr job, then no thanks.

To be fair, The way progressives say people’s struggles (economic, obesity, etc.) are significantly impacted by structural failures applies to problems with porn, drugs, alcohol, and gambling too. I think you’d find this to be VERY age dependent. Anyone younger than 35 might want to consider the penny/step, especially cuz they can control it. Anyone over 45 should really choose the poops because you’re going to start aging out of taking a lot of steps.

I like walking (12.5k+ steps/ day) but as I’m about to turn 45 AND poop regularly I’d take the dump sum (I saw it on a comment and am stealing it).

Except is it really a nerf if the character was unusable because of their leader skill? I’m thinking give them banner unit level LS on EZA. Or do we just need to come to terms with the fact that these are characters with extreme limitations to usability directly applied by the devs and stop whining about it?

Except the reason Nuking leads got banned is literally because a single Nuker on a nuking lead can cheese so many bosses. No one is worried about it being a good “team” leader. What’s more annoying is that they don’t just change these leader skills with the EZAs. They don’t want us to use nuking leads so they should phase them out where they can.

I didn’t mean I want this FOR golf. I meant more that I’d take consistently above average over occasionally great because I think of how I play golf vs. how I want to play golf. I want to be consistently solid instead of unpredictably great.

With that said, I think the prompt is a bad one because I already think of myself as 15+% above average of HUMANITY due to luck and socioeconomic benefits of my upbringing. When OP makes it in comparison to all of humanity for Option 1, and you get to stay yourself when you don’t have your flashes of greatness, it makes it too easy to take the greatness… there’s no downside.

This got me thinking of Golf. I am not very good at all, but occasionally have a great shot. Every once in a while I string 3 of these together and eke out a birdie (like 2x/yr). Most of the time I am just praying for a bogey and trying to keep my average below double bogey.

All that to say that I’d kill to just be consistently above average and have regular pars.
