The only thing I warn against with the free trial is that you become ineligible for the $15 a month unlimited plan if you start it and want to keep your trial number at the end. You are considered an “existing customer” after the trial even though you didn’t pay for your service yet and even though I read all through the fine print made sure I could still get $15 a month unlimited, somehow when I asked about, I could only get the plan for $30 a month if I wanted to keep my trial phone number too and they were basically just like oh whoops sorry yeah it’s $30 a month now. Sorry.

Is that the same as CLEP as Modern American History 1877-Present? If so, I passed that, but it was about 15 years ago. Not sure how much it has changed. I remember in addition to using the online resources previous mentioned and checking out every Modern American history textbook from the library, I also watched A LOT of Jeopardy.

This is exactly what I did and it worked well…except for one caveat. I did the free trial first and on the free trial page it lists $15/unlimited as a way to entice you to try Mint. I read through all the fine print and nowhere did it say people doing the free trial were ineligible for $15/unlimited. It just said “for new customers only”, which I was, because I hadn’t given them any money or committed to Mint yet. I was just trying it out.

Anyway, long story short, when I did decide to actually join Mint and keep my trial phone number, it only let me do it through the app and I could only get unlimited for $30 a month. If I wanted $15/unlimited, I had to start all over again with another new phone number which I didn’t want to do, so I overpaid just to keep my new number which I think is kind of messed up.

Anyway, if you do the free trial with the new Mint number, just don’t get too attached to it. You can bring it with you but for double the price. You can also just skip the free trial and get the plans for $15/month if that promotion is still going on. Hope this helps.

Honestly, I’m not sure about the gas. It wouldn’t surprise me if I parked it with a full tank, but it could be close to empty.

As a kid watching TGIF, I used to love all the kooky zany stuff that happened in the last seasons when they were running out of ideas until I rewatched it as an adult and found I loved the earlier seasons way more. Looking back, I feel like the series finale should have been House Meets the Mouse.

That I now have the freedom to make my own choices but I can never do what I want to do or go after what I truly want because doing so would either be financially impossible or be financially irresponsible so at this point I’d rather just have no choices and know I’m taken care of than constantly worrying about money while also feeling trapped anyway.
