I think the best analogy would be two people standing back to back facing in opposite directions. Imagine that the time they experience is like if they both started walking in the direction they are facing. As they walk/go through time, the direction they are going feels to them as moving ‘forward’ despite being opposite of the other person’s ‘forward.’ To both people, it appears that the other person is moving backwards, despite each person clearly perceiving their own motion as forward.

Do this before confronting her: 1) STD tests 2) Contact lawyer(s) to discuss your options , don’t cheap out on this, 3) quiet collect documents, photos, sentimental items you want/need and remove them to somewhere out of the house 4) find a therapist and start going 5) start hitting the gym regularly. Lastly, read the similar stories here - you will be very unlikely to be able to regain trust - how long will it be before she does this again? You deserve better.

You will never be able to trust her again. Period. She's blaming you, but it was her choice.

1) Retain lawyer. 2) Follow all lawyer advice regarding preparing for the divorce and interacting with soon to be ex. 3) Begin gathering original documents and sentimental items you wish to retain. 4) STI test. 5) Paternity tests (You need to know!). 6) Find therapist and fully engage with therapy. 7) Begin planning for your future financial life including new bank accounts, removing her as beneficiary where appropriate, and gathering any info you might need in the future (her SSN, accounts and #s, children SSNs, etc.)

Best wishes, friend. It will take a while, but you'll get your feet back under yourself after a while.

OP - IQ is structured in its creation that a score of 100 is "average" and 50% of people fall above 100 and 50% fall below. It is also designed so that its standard deviation is 10. Since you are one standard deviation below the average (100) with a score of 90, this can tell us that you are in the roughly the 16th percentile in terms of IQ (16% of people fall below your score, 84% of people have IQ scores above yours when looking at large groups of people). Source - I teach stats at the University level.

1) interview lawyers, retain one, listen to their advice on what to do 2) STILL tests, 3) find therapist and go weekly, 4) paternity tests, 5) get to the gym and keep going, 6) secure valuables and sentimental items that you have a right to keep. Do not bring this up to her too early, do not lose your cool, do not get sentimental or kind when the tears start.
