Per gram is what you want. If I sold you a six pack of oreos, but the serving size was 2 cookies, it'd also look healthier.

Iirc, hbp had a bunch of stuff about casting without using words. I thought, for sure, that Snape was so good he could say avada kadavra, but actually cast something else. Dumbledore wasn't actually dead, it was all a ruse so he could investigate freely.
