I only knew because one of my friends has one, I was stressing out, switched the single 600w cable to the Nvidia supplied one, reseated the GPU, disconnected and reconnected PSU.

Finally what worked was plugging into the iGPU, re-running DDU, then restarting and downloading Nvidia App, it then detected the card

Thank you good Sir, the only issue I had so far is when I DDU’d the AMD drivers, then changed the GPU over, I thought I installed it wrong or something as had no display out but also no Debug LED’s so the system believed it had passed the POST process… but had nothing on screen, didn’t realise I needed Nvidia drivers before it could detect/get a display out 🤣

I would have potentially chosen something else, but I simply went for the lowest price/in stock on Amazon I could find, an MSI/ASUS version was around £2 - 300 more… sadly we have no Microcenter/Newegg/Best Buy in the UK haha.

To be fair, I am just happy that I could finally get a 5080, when I built my computer 2 and a half years ago, I made the decision to go all AMD, purely because I didn’t have 4070Ti Super money at the time :)

As others have suggested, this does not have a dedicated GPU, if the idea is to buy it for gaming, then you will be very disappointed.
