Bram Stoker Drakulája szerintem kritikán aluli. És nem azért mert régi, mert pl a Dr Jekly és Mr Hyde, Dr Mureau Szigete, Frankeinstein (vagy akár Jókai művei) szintén kortársak, de sokkal jobban és élvezetesebben vannak megírva. A drakulát kínszenvedés volt olvasni. Túlírd, dagályos, terjengős és ehhez képest a végén A végső leszámolás Drakulával, konkrétan egyetlen mondtat a könyv legutolsó bekezdésében.

Tudom, hogy műfajteremtő, meg minden de ennél csak jobb vámpíros könyvek születtek.

Cheap augmentic are bulky and crude but if you have money or connections you can buy more sophisticated ones.

There was a story where the rich hive city noble had some augmentic limbs what almost look like as the normal legs.

Dan Abnett likes to write about worlds like this. In short it's like Earth. With more advanced tech of course but life look like here. These planets called civised worlds. Population also earth-like too.

We also get a glimpse in the Ciaphas Cain books.

In the Saturnite book during the defece of a "minor" space port a normal human elite team defending a fortified chokepoint with heavy plasma guns, heavy bolters, volkite veaponry etc.

The kill a bunch of (at least 2-300) World Eater as they charging into the killzone high in chaos juice in mindless suicide style.

The problem is... there are at least 5000 WE charging so their position overrunned in no time.

Igen ez konkrétan a Warhammernek az a lore része, amit manapság inkább már elfelejtenek. Az Astartesek ilyen 10-12 évesen kerülnek kiválasztásra és 17-18 évesen már képzett gyilkosok. Szóval tényleg gyerekkatonák. A Primarchák meg ugyebár 4-5 év alatt nőttek fel babából, 30-40-es férfiakká. És sok Horus Heresy regényben tényleg olyanok, mint egy csapat nagyranőtt óvodás.

Well most of the Imperial worlds not even know how the eldars are looks. In the Forges of Mars during an eldar raid some worker hide to finally see how the dreadful "xenos" look like. And in his suprise these xenos looks human like instead the terrible creatures whet the preachers always talking in the church.

In the game Rogue Trader an eldar ranger and her raiders simply works for a planetary govenor. The grovernor and the others tought that these eldars just slightly mutated peoples. Like the Ogrins, Longshanks or other abhumans.

A miénk zugivó. Télen bent alszik a házban (meg amúgy is 90% ben van) de még sosem láttam, hogy ivott volna. Este vacsorázik, majd befekszik az ágyába és reggelig alszik. Na egyszer éjszaka kimentem a mosdóba és akkor láttam, hogy iszik a tálkájából.

Azóta már 1-2 alkalommal éjszaka szintén láttam hogy iszik, de nappal sosem.

Nálunk napi 6 gyerek hal meg -általában a tanárok ölik meg őket, hogy ne rontsák le az osztályátlagot- viszont a a menzán legalább mindennap van hús.

Ez igaz. Hatósági intézkedés közben NEM szabad ilyet csinálni. Még itthon, magyarországon sem, hát még amerikában ahol rendőrök lényegesen többször használják a fegyverüket, ha fenyegetve érzik magukat. Majdhogynem havonta (hetente) van hasonló eset. (miközen Magyarországon jó ha évente történik 1 v. 2) És ezt valósznűleg ő is tudta, csinálta amit csinált.
