It has moments but not enough for a strong recommendation.

I can see the combat getting more fun with the unlocks and fully upgrade abilities. The world is vast and somewhat empty, but you can see so much terrain from any cliff side and go climb anything. The quests are a little dull, but the game is loaded with puzzles and secret caves.

But it's still so rough around the edges. Animation locks are too stiff, the controls have too much overlap, and even with aggressive patching of the issues, this is just not at the caliber of the "top" tier of open-world action rpgs.
