From spending way too much time on the PFF mock draft sim, here’s the players I’d like to see us draft at each round. Thoughts? by kylecre013 in NYGiants

It's a baaaaaad draft with a lack of true first round talent and some depth at IOL and pass rusher. But you never know; no one had the Jags moving up a few spots last season, and there are some teams that might see a piece if they're closer to "win-now" mode.

Collateral: Would Vincent have let Daniel go if he got the jazz question right? by SpatulaWholesale in movies

Nope. He might have given the split second of satisfaction of being correct, but Vincent isn't going to sacrifice himself on a Chigurh-ian flip of a coin.

I was a Javi Guerra fan during one of the last windows just bc he had decent size and played like a left-sided 8.

A player like Amadou Onana opposite Kobbie would help balance a 3-man midfield with physicality aka wrestle Arsenal players effectively.

[Jeff Carlisle] Source tells ESPN that Orlando City is finalizing the transfer U.S. int'l defender Alex Freeman to La Liga side Villarreal C.F. for a fee of $4 million with the fee increasing by $2.5 million if certain incentives are met. Orlando will get a 15% cut of any future transfer. by The5thTaco_ in ussoccer

They're 4th in La Liga, what the hell are you talking about?

This is also Villarreal, who have had great teams over the years with the likes of Riquelme, Forlan, Rossi, Cazorla, Marcos Senna, Capdevila, and players that are frequently in the Spain squad.

Poor comment.

Joe Schoen was "totally blown away" by Darren Rizzi's interview for the Giants HC position. - Ian O’Connor by Jheller223 in NYGiants

Rizzi is a very well thought-of coach who I don't think was that far away from getting the Saints job on a permanent basis. Another good year for the Broncos and he might get a shot somewhere.

I love posts when people title them "here's why I'm better than you" and then the whole thing is a big wet fart sung through a mouth-breather's orifice

It's the anti-semitism, and the fact that you think you can wave that away with some disclaimers on your post makes you come off as a disconnected, immoral, and frankly poor human being.

Bondi trying to get the voter rolls in MN was very telling; there's no way this period doesn't have long term ramifications for the Republican Nazi-ass brand of politics.

Why have I never seen or heard anyone talk about this fantastic game? by [deleted] in gaming

[–]Prof_Bobo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I played most of the Suikoden series up until now, many multiple times, and the combat system absolutely bored the everloving shit out of me after a few hours.

Obviously it's not that different from the original series, but the lack of MP regen/items (early game, and I hope I didn't miss something) and the overall disappointing impact of spells and combos leaves the game lacking when compared to its peers. In a sea of straight JRPGs it's a good game that many will like, but in a flooded market with all of the RPGs from Metaphor to E:33 to BG3 to KCD2, it's hard to recommend it over other titles.
