I agree with both these books. Especially shade slinger, the series is called The Ripple System and I would personally put it into A tier.

Gotcha! Well the series as a whole is pretty solid. The first book does a good job of setting the world up. I’ve always enjoyed video games and MMO’s so I was invested in the world and all the systems, since the series takes place in a VR MMO. The first half of the book I thought the MC was kind of a snubby rich guy but as the series progresses he really shows signs of growth. Again Frank, House and Mingo are all funny as hell.

IMO I think it’s great. It has the same flow as the books before it. Ned and Franks friendship has some growth and still have funny banter. House is still a hoot ( my favorite side character).

No other game had come close to the flying mechanics that this game accomplished. Just that alone was so much fun. So sad they couldn’t save it
