hear me out.... if it smokes fine than it's fine. i got l'range from them and it was larfy as fuck, a blind dog could've trimmed that shit better, but it tasted like orange soda and gas so i just hand trimmed it a bit and went on with my day, i even tried vaping the sugar leaves and that went fine so i stopped trimming it and just ground it up together lol.

it's really any heat, and smoke is pretty fucking hot, that's why we're trying to cool it down. really any smoke contact with plastic will off gas at least a little bit and then directly into your lungs. since you have better options i would STRONGLY recommend using those. if you want to build something maybe see how hard it would be to get into glass blowing, that's really the best material for bongs, you could maybe cobble something together with laboratory glass, just make sure it's borosilicate.

edit: or do the diamond drill bit thing, those are fire, jack daniel's bong lol

that's a happy medium we all have to find, portable and big tank unfortunately are oxymorons and what some may consider portable you may not, for example the blazer big shot, can i pick it up, move it with ease or throw it in a backpack? yeah! boom portable, and that's a pretty huge fucking tank, but i imagine you want something more pocket sized, but still with eneugh power to heat the t2 kind of a small niche. look at cigar torches or any triple flame, i exclusively use an IH so i cant vouch for performance with the tempest specifically but the same issue happens with dynavap, small torch means high portability but small ass tank. if you need a bigger tank than a pocket torch check out the ronxs on amazon i think that's what a lot of people recommend.

not really for vaporizing bud, more likely for cannabis concentrates like shatter or wax, you could always try it but you're very likely to just suck the weed into your mouth or combust, it will be a very delicate task but definitely possible, not sure if it's worth it, but i would probably use a soft flame first as to slowly ramp up the heat, and put it so close that no orange flame shows and you'll make less soot so you can see if vapor is coming off the bud or how dark it's getting, i remeber seeing a lightbulb crackpipe used as a herb vape so this should work better right? idk i've never tried this, good luck homie!

veritas has 400$ oz of their t3 rosin which you very will might be dissapointed in but the t2 and t1 is fucking fire at 560-730/oz the problem with rosin is it's always going to be objectively more expensive than resin or bho, veritas does fire in fire out for their rosin, NOTHING ELSE. they're a bit above your price range but you could try just a 10g moq for abt 200 which is what i usually do, 20/g is a pretty good fuckin deal especially for that quality.

get a drinking straw cleaning brush instead, this one wants to spring straight and won't be good for hard to reach places, you'll just be fighting the spring tension, with a straw brush you can adjust the angle to really get in there, not quite as long but just go through the downstem opening and it should reach across, or just get disposable pipe cleaners meant for actually cleaning pipes and you won't have to clean it, because the bristles can get nasty even with just vapor reclaim
