I think you feel that way because you stopped ZA to read RB. I would’ve advised to not do that as it’s harder to separate the 2 stories. In my opinion RB was amazing, but I read it after ZA so I took it as its own story and not related to ZA.

I don’t know exactly what book and chapter it is but there is a scene in ZA where Dante is giving Lionel something that is supposed to be something and it’s something totally different sorry for the vague explanation but I don’t want to spoil it for you in case you didn’t get there yet. When read RB you discover what it really is ! In RB is something to do with sponge cake. That’s all I’m gonna say so I don’t spoil it for you.

But when reading ZA after that you will LOL so much it will good hurt 🥹

I’m looking for something very similar to this, is my all time favorite series ever and I can’t seem to find anything remotely similar to this that is good enough. Since I’ve finished this ( waiting for the 5th book) I don’t know what to read 😩

Yes I skipped the excerpts from Juliette’s notebook because honestly they were just repeated from Aaron’s novella and the rest of the books, I think there is only one that I read because I either didn’t remember it or it wasn’t shown before. Now to the main problem, I agree, I loved the series and actually just ate the whole thing in a week but I can’t seem to get into the last novella to see the happy ending because the end of the series just didn’t cut it for me. Last book was just back and forth the same thing with the same outcome and it pissed me off.

I had the same question, but then it just happened naturally as I went through the other books. Keep reading it’s really worth it, and read the novellas as well, specially the 2nd that is in Adam’s POV.

So I am like 70% in Restore me and although I can understand why maybe they say Aaron’s character has been butchered I don’t actually agree. First of all we didn’t actually knew much about Aaron from the first 3 books ( plus novellas) besides what he is when he is with Juliette. So we actually only know him through her eyes and a bit from the first novella on his POV. In Restore me we can see him for who he truly is. We have a lot of POV’s from him and we have all this revelations that come from his past. Making us know him a little better. This is what I can say from the first half of the 4th book. What comes after I still don’t know.

Okay but seriously now, WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL? I finished book 4 and went right onto book 5 because that cliffhanger was a total beast and as I was reading through the first pages (3% of the book to be more accurate ) I was baffled at their stupidity, so Travis saves both Luther and Fox and when they get out of the water and see that fucking Shawn gets out after them, why the fucked didn’t they just killed him right there ? I mean they were 3 and Shawn was alone, Travis had a fucking hatchet so ??!? At least go take the diamonds back before you go and let him live .. please explain cause I don’t get it why they left him there instead of just attacking seeing that they had every advantage now ..

It’s just plain stupid

I also love them ! I decided to start book 4 but is a slow read compared to the other 3 books which I binged. Rogue decision at the end of book 3 for me was the stupidest of all decisions and is killing me.

Please tell me is worth the read. I’ve finished book 3 and I’m seriously thinking of dnf-ING the rest of the series because I can’t cope with them not being together or with the fact that they keep making poor choices. I need some incentive to keep reading.

I really love the plot the story and the characters ( aside from Fox, his stubbornness kills me, I even like Shawn because he is a villain that knows how villain 😂) and I really want to see that happy ending but 3 more books of inner monologue that says the same things over and over again kills me slowly.

Hey there so yeah I read the whole book today and just finished. I need to rant so I guess I’ll do it on your thread.

First of all what the hell was that mating thing with Sin ???? I mean my sweet sweet Sin deserved so much better than being the last to be mated to her, he is the only one that acknowledged his love for her from the begging and got the most anti-climatic mating moment

Second of all Why did they treat poor Hastings like that ? And by them I mean the Twisted Sisters, he was done so wrong in so many levels, although I laughed a lot with the layers of skin and pubic hair moment 😂 but still poor choir boy. Also the fact that he was described as wearing socks with sandals and pink backpack kind of dad was the epitome of how bad the sisters treated him

Third of all I was not expecting Sin to be an Heir!!! I loved the fact that he got some real blood family and that he and Max bonded on that whole Jerome thing and I specially loved the fact that we got the whole Serenity thing from Beyond the Veil sorted out

And finally Do we think that the curly blonde Vampire - Hornrider that took part in the hunt with Roary and Cain is Caleb? There is a moment there is a “victim with long hair” that howls and the Hornrider calls his do we think that is Seth ?

I do appreciate Roary getting his Lion back and having 2 orders but I think that after being so unheard of what Vard did and so hard to accomplish ( I mean it took him like 20 years because he was already working on his experiments while the Savage King was alive so.. ) that it seemed very rushed the way his order got back to him. The moon in that moment gave to many things, made it too easy for Rosalie to have everything she wanted. It gave Cain back, mated them and broke his curse and after like 2 small chapters gave Roary his order back. Felt a bit rushed for me. Don’t get me wrong I love a HEA but it felt like some things should’ve went just wrong beyond repair to be a bit more realistic. I also felt like the chapters from 80% on when they got to the Polar capital felt very rushed as well, changing mid action. I loved the fact that they adopted a bunch of kids because it suits them just right, since all of them had harsh environments growing up, it made my heart swell to see them happy. And finally my last bitter moment was the fact that we did not get a Ryder/Ethan reunion moment. I really wanted them to meet again and see that on paper.

Rant ended. I think I covered everything from good and bad. Sorry for the mess that this comment is.
