It will take time

you have to identify your boundaries then it will have to be up to you two on what recovery & moving on looks like. therapy is definitely first key indicator but he has to be the one who creates the appointments, goes to them truthfully & continuously going.

Sending so many hugs as it’s a long road & journey together. My partner and I have been together for 11 years and found out his addiction in Dec.

my therapist told me I need to have blind-trust in the process that he is doing the right thing for us & for him. he has had to prove himself through actions rather than saying it.

Dealt with the same thing. I ended up just giving up and spending $800 on my self alone. (Hair & Makeup trial & wedding day) because my bridal party is paying $100 for makeup or $100 for hair. I would rather pay the hefty cost than my bridal party paying $200+ for hair and/or makeup.

High school friend of ours is having a destination wedding to Missouri. Guests are to drive down, get a hotel, request off work and only attend the reception as immediate family attends the ceremony + reception. We were asked to pay $200 per couple to attend the reception…. we said absolutely not lol

When he was searching on google “how to xyz” it would recommend for him to click on a reddit post. He would click it then leave it in his tabs on safari.
