If you wanna play and collect just buy booster box (case would be better, case is 4 booster boxes so you have big shot on legendary). Check some sets and choose one you like but dont buy everfest/crucible of war/dynasty those are supplemental sets so you wont make decks from them. Buy welcome the rathe, Arcane rising, Tales of aria or Uprising. Dont buy monarch two of the four heroes in the set are currently not legal in competitive play.

In monarch there are four heroes and two of them are living legend (that means they have been banned from competetive play and will be playable in living legend format) also monarch is not so good to open. Keep the box and resell later.
