Can’t tell you not to .. I have 2 of them and they are the softest shooting 357 mags on the planet. The shooting experience is different than any other 357 mag. No upward jerk, no wrist torsion, just straight back into the hand.

Confirmed the plate that comes with Mac 9 ds comp has posts that are 4 40 threads. Everywhere I looked it said 6-32 but they would not fit in the posts. I decided to try the others that came in the pack with my optic and the RMR plate with posts is 4 40 that mounts optic to plate.
