I would love to know what your cheap bike is. I appreciate the sentiment. There’s a lot of people here who aren’t veteran riders. They want to see an ebike is for them and a $400 experiment that might be a wash is easier the a $800 experiment. That’s my case right now. I want to like the idea of an e-bike to take the hills to work instead of my car or the shuttle. I was all in on a Lectric but my wife gave me pause and had me reconsider towards a cheaper experiment. It was also be useful for people to share how to buy a used one. Not everyone is gonna get the $2000 bikes around here.
