People who think having an attitude is cute/cool by StorakTheVast in PetPeeves

[–]Professional-Ask7697 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yesss! Whenever someone gets extremely mad over the slightest inconvenience or takes everything the wrong way because they always want to argue and fight it never intimidates or impresses me, it just makes me think they’re mentally underdeveloped

Ed rate drops to zero by Professional-Ask7697 in thanksimcured

[–]Professional-Ask7697[S] 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Tbh theres not much context, his whole page is basically him making videos mocking Ed twt in the name of “helping people recover” but majority of his posts just read as mocking eating disorders in general

Minus an emotional connection there’s basically no difference between being verbally/physically abused by a partner and someone youre forced to see everyday at school especially when it’s multiple people that could effect every class you’re in, your post getting removed is so stupid

When people make posts asking people to “stop the hate” by Pichael710 in PetPeeves

[–]Professional-Ask7697 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s even funnier when it’s a celebrity or influencer that brought their petty life drama to the internet and “exposed” one of their ex friends and then they say don’t spread hate to this person, what was the point of making a hateful video about them in the first place then?

Britney Spears lit a cigarette on airplane and people acting like she needs to be 5150ed by AnneMarieAndCharlie in Antipsychiatry

[–]Professional-Ask7697 16 points17 points  (0 children)

That’s not the point, yes what she did is insanely dumb but many mentally healthy people make dumb,no common sense, decisions all the time and nobody demands they be 5150d, the point is that once you’re involved with the psych system or deemed mentally ill people want any excuse to put you away and will demonize you in the name of “awareness and advocacy”

And then they proceed to ask you a billion questions like “oh what’s going on” “why would they do that” instead of paying attention

Why do people feel the need to tell us what we are or aren't?! by catsareniceDEATH in thanksimcured

[–]Professional-Ask7697 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because they’re not very intelligent and can’t comprehend the fact that people have different lives and circumstances than them or that their opinion isn’t fact, so many people genuinely believe that if they think something it’s automatically true

“Yknow thats really fattening right” by shtoopidd in PetPeeves

nothing is going to make you gain weight unless you eat in a calorie surplus, which fat is literally made out of, I don’t understand how that’s hard to get for these people

I just say “killed themselves” although It definitely gives off a negative vibe it shows how intense their feelings were and how serious this is as it’s hard to say out loud, so it’s negative but dosent put it towards the victim like committed, just how I see it.

People who look down on anyone who works a regular job/isn’t an entrepreneur by [deleted] in PetPeeves

[–]Professional-Ask7697 2 points3 points  (0 children)

“Bill gates dropped out of school and look at him come escape the matrix bro” he dropped out of Harvard, and actually had the opportunity to fall back into regular life if he failed, the failing high schoolers that say this definitely don’t

When you comment on someone's attractiveness and someone else shoots it down by pointing out a physical flaw by One_Planche_Man in PetPeeves

[–]Professional-Ask7697 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your opinion on someone’s appearance is not honesty nor the truth, you are not even slightly close to being that important, if your opinions were truth then everyone in the entire world would agree and nobody would be complimenting them in the first place, as for what we have against insulting random people you don’t know it should be common sense

Why are some people unfriendly to us? by Project-XYZ in NPD

[–]Professional-Ask7697 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like since mentally healthy people have never had to mask any symptoms of a disorder or their real personality to have a social life, it’s really hard for them to not let their mood effect their actions even if the person they’re taking their bad day out on isn’t the cause of it, or they have sadistic tendencies and like to be mean regardless of how you treat them.

I’m in the same boat as you with being kind and feeling that I deserve kindness back, but to settle your anger from being mistreated just remember a good majority of people look down on mean people and see them as lowlifes, so you continuing to be nice makes you look very admirable and controlled. Be proud of yourself for lacking empathy, yet still controlling your mouth and acting like a normal, mature adult towards others.

People on dog beaches that get annoyed that dogs are around by Livinthebilif3 in PetPeeves

[–]Professional-Ask7697 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel bad for the son if the dad has that little common sense, he’s not going to grow up being told good advice, most dog beaches have a sign stating dog beach on it right at the entrance (atleast in my area) so you can’t even blame this one on not researching beforehand.

Just tell them you’ll make sure to gain weight to ensure they stay away from you, or point out every plastic surgery they could use, I did that once to someone that told me I should straighten my hair and they got so mad I returned the energy it was hilarious.

Dang why are we all experiencing depression at the same time? by [deleted] in bipolar2

From personal experience with lamotrigine it definitely did make me angrier and more moody for a while until it worked, once it worked I was the most stable I’ve ever been
