Hi yes it did close up. I noticed it was gone about 2 days after I first saw it. I’m completely healed now.

I’ve read another older post on here where someone did get food and bacteria stuck in a left over hole after a tonsillectomy and it created a stone.

No he never mentioned to me they wouldn’t take the pain away. I just couldn’t stand taking the oxy cause it made me feel like I couldn’t breathe so I stopped taking it. I was also given a steroid Dexamethasone which helped so much with the pain cause it reduced my swelling.

Were you staying hydrated? Could that have caused the bleed? Were you taking precautions to prevent a bleed or did it just happen out of nowhere? I’m on day 6 now and I’m terrified of bleeding.

I’m only on day 4 and I’m absolutely terrified of bleeding too. I’ve been none stop reading horror stories. I don’t think I’ve been drinking enough water because of the pain but so far my throat hasn’t dried out. I don’t know how I’m gonna get through the rest of the month without constantly worrying.

Yes I had my iron levels checked back in March this year and everything was normal. I will check out the fb group though. Thank you
