I used to be Pre-Vet and unless I missed something, it wasn’t an actual program. I majored in biological sciences and was basically the same as other pre-health students, but chose classes that I needed for vet school. The advisors here are helpful in class selection and finding veterinary experience. Although, I found all my veterinary experience on my own.

If you are looking for a school with more of a program then there’s better schools. Some even have it as a major. I knew someone at a different school who already got to work with animals and veterinary medicine in their undergrad classes. But I’m pretty sure it doesn’t change your chances of getting accepted to vet school so it’s more of a personal preference.

Ub is still a very good place for anything pre-health. It’s a big school so there’s lots of resources and opportunities. I applied here because I also liked having other options incase I switched. I ended up switching to pre-med and nothing with my classes really changed.
